Until Time Runs Out of Sand

You looked at me, I looked at you, one look was all we needed,

Electricity at full charge my love, the circuits were exceeded.

Eyes beckoned me to dance with you as you gently took my hand,

From that moment you were mine, until time runs out of sand.

You were dancing with my soul that night, forever I was yours,

Suspended in a special time, our wonderous love the cause,

You made me radiate that love, my heart was in your hand,

As we danced I was forever yours, until time runs out of sand.

An engagement ring , a wedding ring, children and happiness,

Love growing ever stronger with each tender warm caress,

I loved you with a strength of love I could not understand,

I knew my love would be eternal, until time runs out of sand.

You looked at me, I looked at you, your eyes so blue were clouded,

Still so young and handsome as those eyes too soon, were shrouded,

My soul screamed from an empty void, it did not understand,

My heart was broken into fragments, when our  time ran out of sand.
